About

Hava is a place to land.

Hava is about deeper connection – with ourselves, with each-other, with our bodies and our breath.

In Turkish, Hava means Air. Hava can be translated as atmosphere, weather, but in conversation a friend might sit across from you and ask – how’s your Hava? – meaning, how are you? Are you cloudy today, or is the sky clear? What’s the weather like for you?

It’s this desire – to cultivate connection, wherever you are, and however you are – that forms the basis of what we’re creating here at Hava. You might be rolling out a yoga mat in East London or diving into the Aegean Sea; pausing to catch the view (and your breath) at the edge of Kabak Valley or sipping your morning coffee in that beam of sunlight that has just fallen through your bedroom window.

There’s no hierarchy when it comes to cultivating connection. A five-minute daily breath practice is every bit as rich a form of nourishment as travelling to a new country and sharing in another culture or discovering a new way of moving.

You’re a part of Hava, whether you’re joining us for a Hava Retreat in Turkey, opening up your laptop to connect with Hava Online, or sharing your weekly yoga practice with friends at Hava Studios.

Hava is a place to land.

Simply pack your breath and come as you are.

  • “This yoga retreat felt more than ‘just a retreat’ – it felt like a community. Ezgi created such a wonderful, safe space and environment over those sun dappled days in Kabak, which were filled with yoga, incredible food, sunset views and blissed out sessions on the beach. I walked away from the retreat with life long friends, laughter and a lot of love in my heart – I really couldn’t recommend this retreat highly enough, and I’m already looking forward to my next one”

  • “I signed up for the Yoga and Sailing Retreat without ever meeting Ezgi in person and not knowing a soul on board. To say it was the most blissful beautiful adventure of my summer would be an understatement. Out on the Aegean sea, it was a week of expansive heartwarming connections – to myself, others, and the elements. I immediately signed up to the yoga retreat in Kabak Valley and brought my best friend along to share this nugget of gold”

  • “Had the most enjoyable day yesterday with Ezgi and Arnold at their Kickboxing and Yoga Retreat. Thank you for curating such a special day and sharing your passions. It was a lovely group of people, and I felt really safe trying boxing. It was great to engage in some vigorous exercise again. Feeling inspired to continue boxing.”

  • “Before going to Turkey with Hava Retreats, I had barely done much yoga. A friend nudged me to go, and as it turns out, it was the best thing I have done for myself in years. Ezgi is simply wonderful. We did a lot of yoga, but this retreat was so much more. I walked away with new friends, new perspective, and a love for Turkish food”
